MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

On Christmas we had a fun time eating food, watching movies, riding around looking at lights and tracking Santa with NORAD. After that we read a story and the Christmas story in the Bible. Then it was off to bed with all of the kids in one room. Isaac was scared about santa coming and didn't want to sleep. About 3 am Katie came in to us with a headache and when Ryan got up with her the 4 oldest kids were sitting next to the tree. Ryan got them back to sleep until about 6:30.

This is the tree and stockings after Santa left!

Dad made the kids wait to do anything until he exercised and showered.
What a Scrooge!

In the meantime there was a variety of expressions and emotions and much poking, prodding and speculation.

Christmas is a time for love.

Tess' favorite camera face is a scowl.

The stockings were 3 feet tall and were full of treats!

Our kids have been a little nice...

and a little naughty!

Isaac wasn't sure about his silk dragon suit but I think he will like it.

Thanks to all of you for the love and support to us.

Playing in the snow

We have been waiting for snow. We have had 3 good storms in a row and there is lots of that cold, wet, fluffy stuff out there. This afternoon the clouds broke and the sunshine felt great so we went out to enjoy it.
